Find out more about yourself with an inward look at the role you're playing and take the personal ownership you need to strengthen your team as a unit.

In Women's Curling through the 2000s, Heather skipped Team Smith to three Nova Scotia provincial titles and a bronze at the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.Heather received her B.Comm at Mount Allison University in Newfoundland and a Master of Business from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Scotland. She is currently CEO of Shine Nation and raising two sons in Halifax Nova Scotia.

Growing up we heard it often: "there's no 'I' in team". While that valuable lesson remains, it's important to consider that there really is an "I" in team. That "I" is you, and you have some explaining to do!

Many of us don't know the cause and effect we truly have on our team. In this talk, Heather Smith makes it personal, with a revealing look at common personality traits and individual behaviours that contribute to or contaminate a team's chances of success.

This ROCKTalk is free for all Nautilus Slam teams, $20 for all others. Click to purchase single tickets.
